Having owned this property for several years, our client's home no longer met the demands of their growing family. They reached out to our team for a modern redesign of their beloved home.
Part of the challenge was shaping each space with modern and sophisticated furnishing but with child-friendly elements in mind. With its limited floor plan we maximized space wherever possible by creating a custom floating desk for the master suite and a lifted bed in the cottage, as well as a storage coffee table. These modifications helped amplify storage space while promoting a less cluttered look by pulling heavy furniture off the floor.
The masonry of their old, leaky fireplace was completely rebuilt with a custom-made surround and hearth. The surround is a beautiful and sleek painted high gloss white paired with leathered Absolute Black granite for depth, texture, and durability.
Eastwood Trading Co. excelled at the challenging task of staining the original yellow pine floors to a cool deep gray tone. After several rounds of samples they developed a custom stain to get the color just right. This simple change added a cool and inviting gray tone as a grounding which aligned perfectly with our client’s modern taste.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
